Slow Cooker Chicken Pesto Pasta
This Slow Cooker Chicken Pesto Pasta recipe is a perfect, easy dish that cooks itself while you’re busy with other things. A cheesy, delicious meal to please the entire family.

Ingredients
- 3 chicken breast diced
- 75 g zesto pesto 5 tbsp, or any store-bought pesto
- 2 clove garlic crushed
- ½ tsp mild chilli powder
- ½ tsp salt
- black pepper freshly ground
- 300 g fresh pasta
- 30 g sour cream 2 tbsp
- 10 green olives sliced
- 1 red pepper deseeded & chopped
- 20 g Parmesan cheese
- 130 g mozzarella cheese grated
Instructions
- Add the diced chicken, pesto, garlic and chilli powder to the slow cooker pot. Season with salt and pepper. Mix together well. Cook on high for 2 hours.
- Cook the fresh pasta for 3 minutes (time this to finish cooking with the chicken in the slow cooker).
- Add the sour cream, olives, red peppers and cooked pasta to the slow cooker pot. Mix well with the chicken. Sprinkle the parmesan and grated mozzarella on top. Cook on high for 30 minutes.
- Serve immediately with some fresh basil.
Notes
- You can cook on medium for 4 hours and low for 6 hours either. When you add the pasta and final ingredients - cook on high for 30 minutes.
- You can use dried pasta too - just alter your cook time for the pasta - or if you have leftover pasta this is a great way to use it up.
- If you prefer your veggies softer - you can add the olives and peppers in with the chicken (step 1).
